Top Fall Wellness Tips

It’s officially Pumpkin Spice Latte season! 

While you sip or eat your favorite PSL flavored treats, continue to read our top fall wellness tips!

  1. Don’t forget to take your Vitamin D supplement: As you know, we get the majority of our Vitamin D from the sun so our intake decreases when Fall comes around. If you are spending less time outside as the cooler months approach, make sure you boost your Vitamin D supplement intake. Make sure you take about 800-1000 IU per day and one that is infused with oil for better absorption.

  3. Boost your immune system: Along with #3, we need to work on boosting our immune systems! Drink plenty of water, wash your hands often, and eat nutritious, in-season, foods to prevent sickness. Some in-season foods are beets, cabbage, kale, pumpkin, and squash, which are all packed with vitamin C!

  4. Supplements for your immune system: in addition to foods, you can take zinc for immune system health. The recommended supplement dose is 15-30mg per day.

  5. Moisturize your skin: With the change in temperatures, our skin suffers! Moisturize daily and don’t forget about wearing sunscreen! 

  6. Go outside: Although the weather is getting colder, it’s still important to stay active throughout the day. Go on a brisk walk or rake the leaves in your front yard. Keep active, any little bit helps!
