Outback Steakhouse is proud to partner with the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) for a day of physical achievement and family fun on February, 22nd at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, CA. Participants have the option to walk the 1 mile route or ride on 1, 6 & 12 mile cycling routes, for people of all abilities on the Huntington Beach Bike Trail with beautiful ocean views.
rideATAXIA benefits FARA- a nonprofit organization dedicated to research leading to treatments and a cure for Friedreich’s ataxia (FA). FA is a debilitating, life shortening, degenerative neuro-muscular disorder.
4th Sunday Cleanup Crew w/Surfrider Foundation – Free

In partnership with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Newport Bay Conservancy and Surfrider Foundation, Newport Beach asks YOU to help make a dent in the amount of trash that will reach the ocean. The Newport Bay is a pivotal place for natural growth in our local ecosystem and it is extremely necessary to keep it clean. This is a GREAT opportunity for service hours!
