On Rotation with Elevated Health

Rotation Guidelines

Thank you so much for choosing to rotate with us at Elevated Health.

We have a very revolutionary model of healthcare delivery and we are passionate about family medicine. We work in a membership model of delivery called Direct Primary Care (DPC).

Refer to this page early and often.

Please find information about our rotation. Come back to this page when you have questions. This helps to offload our physicians from getting bombarded with procedural questions. It also helps you to know what to expect!

learn about the model

Please take some time to familiarize yourself with our model. Poke around our website. You’ll see that we are very transparent with pricing. Our tagline is “Affordable. Amazing. Accessible Healthcare” and we really have lived up to this mantra.

Books

While on the rotation it is expected that you will read a few books. You can borrow them from us (if available) or you may be asked to purchase them (links below). If you have an interest in possibly setting up a DPC practice someday, you will want these books anyway. There is also a possibility that we may be willing to buy them off you when you’re done…since our books have a tendency of walking away 🙂

The Official Guide to Starting Your Own Direct Primary Care Practice

Direct Primary Care: The Cure for Our Broken Healthcare System

Optional (highly recommend if you like the DPC model):

The Direct Primary Care Doctor’s Daily Motivational Journal

Slowing the Churn in Direct Primary Care (While Also Keeping Your Sanity)

The Guide to Buying Health Insurance, and Health Care

We were able to get the books in the “circulating collection” at the Touro library and they’ll mail you the books for free. You can get more information (if you are a Touro student) by emailing: Amy.Castro@tu.edu

location/parking

We are located on the 8th floor of Pacifica Tower in Huntington Beach. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area and we do have a breakroom with a large refrigerator if you prefer to bring your own food.
