Tips for Coronavirus Anxiety

With increasing anxiety and stress over Coronavirus, it’s important to stay calm and focused. Here are 8 tips to help you combat any anxiety you may have:

  • Wash your hands and spend less time in public spaces.

  • Use the time spent at home to connect with family, read a book, start a new hobby, or begin a healthy habit.

  • Limit your exposure to news. Be informed, but don’t overload yourself with reading every news story or social media post on the topic.

  • If you’re working from home, create a calm work environment. 

  • Practice deep breathing exercises or meditation. 

  • Move your body by doing jumping jacks, sit-ups, or dance in your living room. Not only will this provide exercise, but it will also improve your mood.
